“Blisters is a breath through amalgam of post-apocalyptic metal folk rock and dire sound scapes that makes doom sound like divine prophecy….exploring the dark sleep of our vacant future, Thanatos sing of moving from ‘a time when we slaughtered strangers to a new habit of murdering neighbors–killers stare back across every clothesline.’…Thanatos offer genuine glimpses into the hell of tomorrow.”–Alternative Press.
“Blisters is a complex work whose somber musical backgrounds and deep, dark vocals will eppeal to fans of ethereal music as well as those in the underground black metal end of the rock spectrum”–Chicago Sun-Times.
“Even though ‘thanatos’ is Greek for death, the music is far from that. Ogle and his band aptly create reflective, emotive soundscapes for the pleasure centers of your brain.”–The Herald, Charlotte , North Carolina.
